The collection consists of 34 black-and-white photograph prints (7 x 9 cm.-11 x 17 cm.) and a report (12 p. ; 27 cm.) entitled "Report of inspection - Mountain Village Hospital, September 13, 1939" written by Vera Liebel, chief nurse at Mountain Village Hospital at that time. Subjects of the photographs include Old Bethel Hospital (originally thought to be Mountain Village Hospital) rooms, staff, and patients, as well as images of airplanes, aerial views of Juneau, and Vera's family.
